My journal entries have hardly even been worth calling entries of late. I know this and I apologize. Nothing has been going on thats worth writing about, though; at least nothing that I havent already written about. Im still not sleeping well; Im still obsessing over Americas International Relations and the draining of our civil liberties; Im still thinking a lot about John and just what Im supposed to do with this relationship, if it can even be called one; Sondra is still not speaking to me; Im still overeating when Im supposed to be on a diet; I still dont have enough work to do while at my job (keep in mind that I am capable of a very high work load, ok?); Im still watching Buffy repeats when I get home from work; Im still planning on my little vacation in three weeks; yadda-yadda-yadda. I did start my History class last week, but seeing as it was the first week of class not much happened. There are a couple of cuties in the class, but of course everyone there is about 15 years younger than me so aside from drool, theres not much Im apt to do in the face of cuties in class. I think even the teacher may be younger than I. Actually, I have been working on getting my measley little webpage together. And I did buy a new lip gloss that I like. Plus, whatever has been happening with my bladder is calming down, so thats something. Oh, and Ive had a headache for like three days STRAIGHT but I think thats because Ive been smoking too much. The MTV VMAs were on last night, but I cant even really write about those because shortly after Bruces opening number I turned the channel and rarely checked back. Not to worry, though. Im sure MTV will repeat the show 107 times over the next week and many more over the next decade. The show just seemed even more annoying than in the past and I didnt find that stupid Jimmy Fallon kid to be the least bit funny. I did see the part where Britney handed out a Happy Birthday Award to Michael Jackson (what the hell WAS that anyway? He gets a special statue in the shape of a treble clef for having a BIRTHDAY?) and he mistook it for the Artist of the Millennium Award! *Guffah!* Now THAT was good t.v. I noticed that Britney looked pretty when she gave him the award, but, well, DUH! Thats not exactly note-worthy. Happy Labor Day. |
