somebody out there loves me

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."

OK, I feel better today.

Of course, I'd feel MUCH better if the stinkin' GOP hadn't taken control of...well pert near everything, but such is life. I guess now I'll simply have more fodder for my writing...It was an exciting night at the races, I must say.

The good news is that Gray Davis is still the Governor of California and most of the other people and propositions I voted for won. There were some exceptions, but I am pleased over-all. As a side note, I think it's now legal to grow your own in San Francisco, so I may be moving soon...

Of course, Medical Marijuana has been legal here for quite some time. Therefore, the Feds make a point of showing up and arresting doctors and growers all the time. I'm sure they'll adhere to form and make a point of harrassing smoking San Franciscans every chance they get.

Does anyone know if the proposition to legalize the stuff in Nevada was passed or not? It was proposed that carrying up to three ounces not be a crime at all, whether it's for medical purposes or just plain fun. Again, I'm sure the Feds will make their presence known, should that proposition be passed. Of course, they've never cared about legalized prostitution in the state, even though it's illegal everywhere else, but this is the EVIL WEED we're talking about here.

Work is hectic so I'm not gonna write much. Not only are we down a body, but The Little Big Man and Joe just left for a business trip to Dallas. They'll be back Friday, when two other people will be out. It shall be a crazy week.

Hasta!
