I assume that most of us know that the newly-enacted Homeland Security Bill contains provisions for mass quarantines and vaccinations. Among those near the top of the list for vaccinations are healthcare and emergency care workers. What I found out this morning is that some of these peeps don't think it's such a good idea. Neither, for that matter, do a lot of Gulf War vets, whose first experience with forced vaccinations of course hasn't been a pleasant one. ~~~ In more scary news, meanwhile (and apropos of nothing, I might add): Pat Robertson just got a large donation from the White House in the form of a "faith-based" grant. |
