Happy Friday the 13th!! Today's Friday Five: 1. What's one thing you've always wanted to do, but never have? Climb Mt. Everest 2. When someone asks your opinion about a new haircut/outfit/etc, are you always honest? Usually, yes, but in a tactful manner. If its something I really detest, I may say very little in an effort to spare the persons feelings. If I simply dont like it very much, Ill try to say something other than simply I dont like it, such as I preferred your hair the other way, but this is cute also. 3. Have you ever found out something about a friend and then wished you hadn't? What happened? I did find out that one of my best friends simply wasnt the person I thought he was. In essence, he broke my trust and I lost all faith in him. It ended up basically ruining our friendship. Through the broken trust, however, I discovered that I had been quite delusional about just what sort or person he was and I should not have had the faith in him Id had. 4. If you could live in any fictional world (from a book/movie/game/etc.) which would it be and why? Narnia. Because it is peaceful now that the White Witch is dead. Plus, Id get to play with Lions and Fawns and other assorted critters. 5. What's one talent/skill you don't have but always wanted? To tie a cherry stem, using only my tongue. ~~~ I always wanted to marry Gregory Peck when I grew up. I guess I really have no chance, now. I recently watched, for about the sixth time, The Big Country which is a film I have always loved. The sad thing is, I thought at the time that Mr. Peck was probably going to die, soonI think I jinxed him! He really is/was one of my favorite actors and I was a bit sad this morning. I think Ill watch a bunch of his movies this weekend; have a Peck Fest. ~~~ I dont really have a lot to write about this afternoon, so Ill just wish yall a wonderful weekend. Hasta! |
