Some evil person brought donuts in to work this morning. Of course, I ate one. Ive also had three bananas today. Can a person OD on potassium? Of course, if Im gonna OD on vitamins and/or minerals, its gonna be Vitamin C. My beloved Naked Juice makes this one called Power C that has 1000% of your recommended daily allowance of Vitamin C per serving and there are two servings per 16 oz bottle. Well, I drink a whole bottle at a time, of course. And I love that juice, so when I have it for breakfast I am getting 2000% of my daily recommended Vitamin C! I think I should cut down on that particular juice Luckily, I dont drink that particular juice every day. Also luckily, Naked Juice has many varieties which I love ever so much, so I have plenty to choose from. And wasnt all of that just vastly entertaining? ~~~ I went on my first training walk yesterday evening. It was fun and the people in the group are all are nice, but I would have had more fun if Barbara were with me. There were about nine of us, and one doggie. :) We walked 5 miles. I was tired afterward and was starving. I hurried home and immediately made chicken fajitas and was so hungry that I burned my mouth up trying to eat them too fast! Man, I hate it when that happens. And Im telling yaas I sit here writing this, I am already tasting the chicken fajita leftovers I have in my fridge at home I thought I was going to be sore, but Im not (so far). It wasnt the distance that caused me to think this, as 5 miles isnt a big deal to me at all. It was the speed at which we walked. You have to understand that at only 52, I have very short legs. They dont walk very fast, as a rule. Last night, we walked faster than I am used to, especially at first. At first my shins were killing me (I have a problem with my shins when I walk too fast; I get shin splints very easily). Luckily, after like mile we stopped so someone could use the bathroom and I stretched out a little more. We also slowed down to my usual pace after that anyway, so I was fine. We didnt all stay together a couple people zoomed off way ahead of us but for the most part we were all pretty much walking at the same pace. ~~~ And ya know what? I dont really have much else to say. I am really feeling bad for my brother Larry and his wife Peg today, because their kids are thankless little shits, but I dont really feel like writing about that right now. Perhaps tomorrow. Perhaps never. ~~~ Word of the Day for Wednesday August 6, 2003 tutelage TOO-tuhl-ij; TYOO-, noun: 1. The act of guarding or protecting; guardianship; protection. 2.
