RedDirtGirl posed the following questions to me. Here are my answers.
1. How do you feel about homeless people asking you for change, and how do you react when they ask? I dont have any real issues with it and usually I give them some change or a dollar bill. That said, if the person is drunk or appears to be on drugs, I give them nothing. As a rule, I dont care where the money I give is going. There is a good chance that the people I am giving money to are going to use that money on booze or drugs, regardless of their appearance. However, Id really rather not contribute to their habit if I know full well of that fact in advance. Call me a snob. There are a lot of homeless people in the city in which I live. The ones who ask for money are actually usually standing outside the local Taco Bell or something and it is pretty obvious that the money will be spent to buy food. 2. What's the most romantic thing you've ever done for someone? I havent really made any grand romantic gestures, but I make little ones on a regular basis. I buy flowers; I cook meals I know are favorites; I buy lots of champagne (OK, this is as much for myself as anyone); I buy bath products and massage oils I know will be appreciated; I give actual massages, both medicinal and romantic in nature (whichever is called for on the occasion); I search out hotel rooms with Jacuzzi tubsbelieve it or not my last boyfriend was much like a women, in that he appreciated all of these types of things. I think the most romantic thing I ever did was to write a love poem for my last boyfriend, print it out on beautiful homemade paper that had rose petals in it and frame it for his Valentines Day present. 3. What's the fastest you've ever fallen in love? I am not a fast fall-in-lover. It has always taken me at least a few weeks, so my answer is a few weeks. 4. If you could change one major thing about your life right now, what would it be? I would be in a band of like-minded musicians, playing music we love. However, since this requires my depending on others (the exact reason it is not a reality), I will say I would live in Santa Fe, NM. I will, too, some daysome day when either money is no object or the perfect job opportunity (or at least one which will supply me with sufficient funds to live there) comes along. 5. Who do you miss the most, and why? Were she not around, I would most miss my sister, Barbara. She is my best friend, my confidant, someone with whom I can laugh with and talk to for hours about most anything and someone whom I admire. ~~~ Here is what you will do if you want to answer five questions: 1. Leave a comment in my guestbook or notes page, saying you want to be interviewed. 2. I will respond; I'll ask you five questions. 3. You'll update your Web site with my five questions, and your five answers. 4. You'll include this explanation. 5. You'll ask five other people five questions when they want to be interviewed. |
