Oh yeahI forgot to weigh in on the whole The state of Massachusetts decided it is against their State Constitution to deny gay people the right to marry each other hullabaloo. Wellyou knowI say: Right on, Massachusetts. I hate to insult the mentally challenged by comparing him to you, but that retard Pat Robertson was on the Today show this morning, complaining about the decision. The thing that cracks me up is that when people like him try to debate the matter, their arguments dont even make sense. Sure, they want to protect the sanctity of marriageso? How is what someone else does affecting your marriage? Its all just about what they believe is right, whichI mean, youre welcome to your opinion, but so the fuck what? I dont agree its right that a guy whos under the age of eighteen can still be put in jail for having sex with a girl of his same age, but again thats the law and its there for reasons that go beyond my opinion. My opinion is that you are wrong, fucktard. Why do you think your opinion holds more water than mine? And if you bring up your completely idiotic and limited interpretation of the Bible, I say A) I believe in it just as much as you do and B) read it again. You know, the entire book, not just the passages which suit your positions; because youve apparently forgotten several passages from the Book of Acts and the Book of Romans. And by the way, why is it you believe in the Bible when it comes to homosexuality, but not when it comes to killing other people and calling it Capital Punishment? And not when it comes to dropping bombs and killing millions in order to get oil contracts for your buddies for that matter? My point is, your opinion is your opinion. Thats it. Unless it has basis in the law, your opinion doesnt mean shit. If your supposed morality is so strong and superior to the millions of homosexuals populating this planet, then what they are doing in their own home should have no bearing on your life whatsoever. You are strong in your morality and conviction and nobody can sway that, right? So shut your blinds and stop peering in to everybody else's business. Well all be a lot happier for it. Twenty years from now, we will all (hopefully) be appalled that this issue was even up for debate. It wasnt so long ago that it was illegal to marry outside of your race in the majority of states and now that just seems ridiculously implausible (well, except in some remote sections of Montana and Idaho maybe). And guess what the racists were spouting at that time in order to defend their ignorant positions? The Bible. In fact, the KKK still uses the Bible as a defense for their atrocious behavior. Would you also like to discuss the many parallels between your feelings about homosexuality and Hilter's? And again I ask - why do you all care so much? Why is two people, neither one of which is you, getting together any threat to you, personally? It doesn't cost you anything; others having rights will take nothing away from your rights. Just ignore other people's marriages and relationships entirely. Ignore it if you don't like it! What does someone else's relationship have to do with you? |
