Umso apparently I benefited from Bushs tax cuts. While last year I received a Federal tax refund of approximately $400, this years will be almost twice as much. In feel kind of guilty, in truth. I dont even have to pay state taxes this year, something I have had to do the last three or four years running. I finally got wise and started contributing an additional $15 per pay check to state taxes, on top of my regular deductions. So this year I actually get a state refund, too. Yes, its only $6, but that's better than having to pay! So anywayId love to say I am going to donate my extra refund money to some worthy humanitarian cause; or even toward a Democratic candidate I feel will get Bush out of office come November because seriously what more fitting way to spend your excess tax refund? In truth, though, I am using it to pay for my car registration a bill which was weighing heavily on my mind and now just isnt. Funny how things work out. Hey don't forget, kids - there's another Democratic Debate tonight, moderated this time by Tom Brokaw. It starts at 4:00pm PST, but I'm sure it will be repeated later.
