somebody out there loves me

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
--Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Bonus, Second Entry for Today:

A Survey:

1. When you wash your hands, do you get your hands wet first and then go for the soap; or do you suds up while your hands are dry, only venturing toward the water to rinse?

2. When putting a toilet seat cover on the seat of a public toilet, do you do so with the open part facing the front; or do you put it down with the open area following the outline of the bowl (which would automatically leave the already open part facing the back)?

Also, I have an observation about these here diariesI find that a whole lot of people love to post pictures of themselves on their diaries. I am not talking about actual professional or even amateur photographers whose pictures are of artistic merit or may be posted in order to obtain public feedback.

I know I posted one, once, in the hope of getting some feedback during my short-lived attempts at internet-dating. Butthere are some people on this here internet who post pictures of themselves on pert-near a daily basis. This poses some questions for me:

1. Are they posting them in a narcissistic way?

2. Are they clamoring for accolades and compliments (my gut feeling)?

3. Do people they know read their diaries and therefore are interested in what they looked like while walking around at that circus last week?

4. Is it all in fun and I am too judgmental for thinking otherwise?

Any assistance you may offer will be greatly appreciated.
