"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
--Theodore Roosevelt, 1918

Holy Canoli, Batman! When I ask for advice, yall come thru like gangbusters. And you rock! Thanks so much. Seriously, what yall wrote made me feel oodles better. I tend to doubt myself when I get angry, assuming I must be over-reacting. So it is comforting to hear that others didnt think I was a complete nut over the issue.

Of coursethen I had a super sex-filled dream about him this morning. Dammit.

From TrueMajority.org

Friday, March 19, marks the first anniversary of the beginning of the war in Iraq. TrueMajority members, along with many others around the world, worked hard to try to stop this war before it began. We argued that the United Nations inspectors should be given the time needed to see if Saddam Hussein was hiding weapons of mass destruction. We argued that no nation had a right to invade another on a hunch.

Of course, we didn't stop the war. But now we are harnessing the huge outpouring that arose to oppose the war as we try to hold Bush accountable in the coming months. Together we can make a difference.

We will each mark the first anniversary of the war in our own ways. Some will silently pray by themselves. Others will join large public rallies condemning the war. Below, we offer some resources to help you in whatever way you choose to get involved.

As an organization, we have joined with MoveOn.org and the Win Without War coalition to run a series of ads in print and on television calling on Congress to hold Bush accountable. Today we are holding a news conference in Washington to announce the ads with the other groups and family members of people in the military.

We encourage you to mark the day in whatever way you feel most comfortable. We've set up a way for you to easily send a letter to the editor of your local newspaper calling for Bush to be held accountable. Just click here. It's easy.

For public rallies and teach-ins around the nation, check out the "upcoming events" section on the left-hand side of the United for Peace and Justice Web site here.

For help in putting together a moment of prayer in your local house of worship this weekend, check out the National Council of Churches here.

If you haven't done so already, send Congress a fax calling for censure of the president here.

Found this at Andrea's blog:

morally deficient
Threat rating: Medium. Your total lack of decent
family values makes you dangerous, but we can
count on some right wing nutter blowing you up
if you become too high profile.

What threat to the Bush administration are you?
brought to you by Quizilla

I only rate a medium threat? I dont know if I should be pleased or disappointed.
