Oh my gosh, I totally forgot to talk about my last History class and I know you all are waiting in great anticipation and perhaps even irritation. You're thinking: "She went on and on about school in like twenty-seven journal entires and now says not one word about her classes. What's up with that?" So you know how I skipped class on 9/13? Well...I am walking to class last week and this nice young lady asks if I am in her History class and don't we have a test tonight? Um...hey, we were given a Class Synopsis (complete with wonderful study guides for just this purpose, I might add). Shouldn't I know about these things? Yes, except that in the midst of my pre-Pampered-Chef-party cleaning frenzy I misplaced my History notebook and the accompanying synopsis/study guide. But no, I didn't think we had a test. Oops. The fabulous news (aside from the fact that I was actually current with my reading so how bad could I do, really?) is that the teacher gave us a lecture and then gave us about fifteen minutes to cram for the test. During those fifteen minutes, this nice young gal gave up her index cards, completely noted for accurate studying purposes. First of all - how thorough is this gal with her studying? More importantly, how nice is she to give up her notes for me because I'm the idiot who lost her notebook and had no idea we were having a test? I thought that was so nice of her and in all honesty probably brought what would have been my grade up a full letter. I may just have to bring her a latte or something on Friday. Anyway, I did very well on my test (I think anyway). I'll keep you updated. |
